Rule The Runway

 In a recent trip to TJ Maxx, I discovered a new specialized section within the store. This area is called The Runway and incorporates high fashion brands such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Alice and Olivia, Nanette Lepore, Lanvin, and Miu Miu. Although TJ Maxx is a categorically discount store, the prices of these brand name items are usually still steep. The bargain hunter I am, however, led me to check back during a huge clearance clearing in The Runway section. I bought the black vinyl MBMJ dress (originally  $378) for $60. The pearl baby-doll leather dress with eyelet detail (originally $998), was practically a steal at a clearance markdown of $130. These are the kind of dresses that make you wish you had something important to do. Sigh.
